Meet The Coaches

At Phoenix Athletics, we believe great coaching is the foundation of a successful cheerleading experience. Our staff is more than just experienced — they’re mentors, motivators, and role models who inspire athletes to push their limits and believe in themselves.

With over 13 years of experience in the cheer industry—spanning recreational, school-based, and all-star programs—I have dedicated my career to building strong, confident athletes both on and off the mat.

Starting my cheerleading journey as an athlete, I quickly fell in love with the discipline, athleticism, and teamwork at the heart of the sport. Having experience across multiple levels of cheer gave me a well-rounded perspective and fueled my passion for coaching.

As a coach, I have led teams to the highest levels of competition, including the All Star World Championships, earning D2 Summit bids, and securing numerous national championship titles along the way.

With a degree in Kinesiology, I have combined my deep understanding of human movement and athletic performance with a coach’s intuition and heart. My training philosophy focuses on proper technique, injury prevention, and mental resilience—ensuring every athlete receives comprehensive support in their cheer journey.

Allison Violette

Program Consultant & STUNT Director

My passion for nurturing talent and fostering growth has been the driving force behind my 15+ years of impactful experience in Cheerleading, Stunt and Flyer Training.

As a dedicated instructor, I have guided numerous athletes to success, evidenced by Summit Finalist positions, a Regional Summit Championship Title, the Cheerleading Worlds experience, and multiple choreography awards.

As the head Varsity Coach at Schroeder High School, I quickly achieved significant success, winning Sectionals in my first year and placing Top 3 in New York State.

I am also thrilled to introduce a new opportunity to the area with Stunt the Sport, an emerging NCAA sport offering a unique and dynamic play on cheerleading. I am eager for the opportunity to apply my extensive coaching and mentorship background, along with my experience in marketing, ownership, management, and director roles, in a consulting capacity.

I’m excited for the opportunity to be in a dynamic and supportive environment where I can contribute my expertise to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and drive success.

Jamie Rich

I believe that fostering a deep understanding of technique, safety, and the principles behind every skill is paramount to their long-term development and success in the sport.

My coaching philosophy centers on empowering athletes with the knowledge they need to excel and cultivate a lifelong passion for cheerleading.

Team & Tumbling Coach

Entering my second season coaching at Phoenix Athletics, I bring several years of experience to the program. This includes three seasons as Cheer Director and Head Coach for the Irondequoit Jr. Lancers youth rec team. Here at Phoenix, I also enjoy teaching tumbling classes up to Level 2.

Cheerleading is truly a family passion for us. My daughter is now in her third season with Phoenix, and her seventh overall, so we share the mat together. Coaching isn't just a role for me; it's something my daughter and I love doing together, building skills, confidence, and creating lasting memories
